Please inform me what you like or don’t like. It’s not necessary to engage in conversation throughout (many people prefer just to switch off, relax and say nothing) but you should let me know if you have aches or pains in any area.
As a guide: general relaxation or stress reduction sessions typically include all the major areas of the body (back, neck, shoulders, legs, feet, hands), while a session for a specific injury, pain or tightness will be focused on that area. It’s actually possible to spend most of an entire session on only one area, if this helps the pain.
One of my Golden Rules is that at any time, if there is anything that does not feel comfortable or right, or you do not like, you have the right to ask me to stop. To mitigate this, throughout the session, you will be asked if the level of pressure is OK, and you should take this opportunity to communicate the level in which you feel comfortable, asking for more or less.
I will communicate with you when I cover and uncover an area of the body and transition from one part of the body to another.
I use only the highest quality hypoallergenic massage oils.
